The Bach Flower Remedies are a system of 38 flower essences developed by Dr. Edward Bach (1886–1936), an English physician and homeopath. Each essence is prepared from a specific flower (or in a few cases, a tree or shrub) by a specific method — the sun method or the boiling method — that, in the Bach tradition, transfers the energetic signature of the flower into water.
